Neglected door before restoration

Rebuilt and refinished 1912 door

Dentil moulding below the glass and shelf was nearly unrecognizable with paint.

Jointery had failed due to lack of care. Bottom rail had been brutally cut to account for substantial wracking.

Stripping previous finishes

Door has been stripped, jointery repaired, matching wood patched in; clamped and glued.

Refinishing exterior

Dentil moulding and shelf profile is coming back to life

Interior refinishing

Re-hung with reproduction hardware; awaiting exterior trim and paintwork.
